George Lucas on Syfy Last Night

Hello All!  George Lucas made a surprise visit to his daughter, Amanda Lucas, last night on Syfy channel's "Robot Combat League".  http://www.nbcbayarea.com/news/local/George-Lucas-Plays-Role-of-Father-Tonight-on-Syfy-197695511.html

I am glad to see him there to show his support for his daughter.  Hats off to you Mr Lucas!  More parents need to be more like you.  I am sorry to see you leave the Star Wars realm but do understand.
George Lucas also plans to build a story telling museum in San Francisco,   http://news.yahoo.com/star-wars-creator-george-lucas-imagines-san-francisco-110902559--finance.html

Looks like it's going to be called the Lucas Cultural Arts Museum.  I hope it does well.  I guess he needs to invest the money Disney paid him for the Star Wars franchise.  I'm sure it will go well.  It seems everything he touches turns to gold.  Well I hope everyone has a great day and as always, May the Force Be With You.

Clone Wars Canceled

It looks like the Clone Wars will be the first cut Disney will make as the show has been canceled.  I know this will be bad news for some but I have heard from others that they are not happy in the direction the show was going.  Here is a source of the show's cancellation:   http://www.examiner.com/article/clone-wars-canceled-animated-division-heading-different-direction

I look forward in seeing the direction Episode VII goes, especially with the Han, Luke and Leia's children.  What do you think of the show's cancellation?  Chime in.... and as always May the Force Be With You!

Disney's New Star Wars

Greeting all!  It looks like Disney's new Star Wars Episode VII is off to a great start with JJ Abrams directing the new sequels.  Also with Harrison Ford, Mark Hamill and Carrie Fisher confirming that they are reprising their roles, which means Disney has opted to go with the original story line instead of going in a new direction. Articles with Fisher, Ford and Hamill can be seen at the following links:

Let me know what you guys think of keeping the same storyline.  Also let me know about the upcoming giveaways.  Have a great day and May the Force Be With You!
